Why HORIZONS LYRIQUES?

From the coast, the largest of the Breton islands, Belle-Île-en-Mer, can be seen on the horizon. Renowned for its beauty and rich natural heritage, the region has been hosting the Festival for almost 30 years, and the venues are always fascinating.

Lyrique en Mer brings together renowned lyrical talents, emerging artists, amateur singers and a passionate public to create ambitious, inclusive and innovative programs.

The horizon is an invitation to explore new possibilities, and thanks to your commitment, this extraordinary human and artistic adventure becomes possible.

LYRIQUE EN MER is...

A Summer Festival under the art direction by David Jackson, and the year-round artistic and educational presence of Jazmin Black Grollemund, cultural and educational delegate.
The production ofa lyrical work staged with orchestra. Since the Festival's inception, over 30 creations that have seen the light of day.
Sacred music concertsperformed by the Festival's amateur choir (about 60 members).

This is made possible by 60 volunteers who work to organize the Festival, thanks to donations from private partners who represent 40% of the budget and with the help of local and regional authorities.
