Jazmin Black Grollemund / Artistic Director
Based in Belle Ile, the Franco-American soprano Jazmin Black Grollemund who discovered the festival as a Young Artist in 2009, was already in charge of cultural and educational initiatives for Lyrique en Mer. Highly committed to projects that democratize opera singing, in 2025 she initiated the formidable «Carmen Investigation» project in collaboration with the Michel Lotte secondary school and other establishments in Belle Ile and Paris. She is currently working on an educational project entitled à East of me which will bring together 92 choristers, 7 professional artists, local partners and two schools, and will result in performances to be presented in April.
Jazmin Black Grollemund is also co-director and one of the principal artists of Les Variétés Lyriques, a company dedicated to the creation, performance and transmission of opera.
