The 2023 Festival
of Lyrique-en-mer
This is the 2023 edition of the Festival. A 25th anniversary celebrated throughout the summer in the company of our artists, young artists, volunteers, partners, donors, technical and administrative teams, and you, our dear public.
To continue the adventure, you have the choice: explore our program, or delve into the articles and press broadcasts.
Nemanja Radulović & the Double Sens ensemble
Nemanja Radulović is an artist that you have already seen in Belle-Île. He does us the honor and the friendship of returning with his Double Sens ensemble to open the 25th anniversary festival, with Roots, an exceptional concert that will take us on a musical tour of the world, from Serbia to Ireland, via Argentina and Japan.
The album Roots combines prodigious gifts for the classical violin, a heritage from southeastern Europe, a cosmopolitan French identity, an absolute belief in the transcendence of music as a human language and a desire to travel accentuated by the various restrictions of these last years.

Anne Queffélec & Gaspard Dehaene
Considered one of the great personalities of today's piano, Anne Queffélec enjoys international notoriety and exceptional influence on musical life.
Popular in Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, United States… the greatest orchestral groups invite him – London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC, Tokyo NHK Orchestra, Orchester Philharmonique de Radio France, Prague Philharmonie, Sinfonia Varsovia… under the direction of prestigious conductors such as Boulez, Gardiner, Jordan, Eschenbach, Langrée, Zecchi, Foster,… “Best performer of the year” at the Victoires de la Musique in 1990, she is a guest at the most important festivals de France, Folle Journe de Nantes, Grange de Meslay, Chaise-Dieu, Montpellier, Roque d’Anthéron… as well as three times at the famous “Proms” in London.
She cultivates an eclectic repertoire as evidenced by her rich discography, more than forty recordings, from Scarlatti to Dutilleux. In 2019, Warner/Erato published an anniversary box set of 21 CDs, made between 1970 and 1996. His latest CD released by Mirare in November 2022, dedicated to the last 3 sonatas of Beethoven, received an enthusiastic media reception.
Gaspard Dehaene piano
At 16, his musical encounter with Chopin made him abandon tennis for music. After his studies at the CNSMDP and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, he began a career, invited to prestigious halls and festivals: Philharmonie de Paris, the Roque d'Anthéron, Folle Journe de Nantes, Carnegie Hall in New York, OJI Hall in Tokyo... recital as in concerto under the baton of renowned conductors.
A passionate chamber musician, he shares the stage with A. Queffélec, S. Compagnon, V. Julien-Laferrière… Privileged partner of Adrien Boisseau, he records two albums with him. Furthermore, he collaborates with the mezzo-soprano Victoire Bunel at the Orsay-Royaumont foundation.
The music of his time is close to his heart. Requested numerous times by different composers, he had the privilege of creating “an ephemeris page” by Boulez.
After two solo albums praised by the press, “Fantaisie” and “Vers l'ailleurs”, he continued with the 1001 Notes label for his third disc: “À la Mazur” dedicated to Chopin. A Steinway artist, he has been teaching since September 2021 as an assistant in Rena Shereshevskaya's class at the École Normale de Musique in Paris.
