A soprano known for her coloratura roles, she is recognized for her acting talent, stage presence, and exceptional high notes.<\/p><p>Her voice, with its great ease in the upper register during the first part of her career (she was capable of reaching a high C), opened the doors to the greatest opera houses for her, in secondary but spectacular roles like Olympia from <em>The Tales of Hoffmann<\/em> by Jacques Offenbach, or The Queen of the Night in <em>The Magic Flute<\/em> of Mozart.<\/p><p>She announced her withdrawal from opera in October 2013 to focus on recitals or different musical projects, notably with Michel Legrand and the pianist Philippe Cassard.<\/p><p>Across the globe, the public loves this unconventional singer, finding her through her records while professionals reward her. Six-time winner at the Victoires de la Musique Classique awards, she was also named a Chevalier de la L\u00e9gion d'Honneur in 2011.<\/p><p>Natalie received the prestigious Laurence Olivier Award (dedicated to theater) in London in March 2008 for her remarkable portrayal of the role of <em>The Daughter of the Regiment<\/em> at London's Covent Garden in February 2007.
